I just finished a whole post about this ridiculous song that Scott Stapp recorded for the Marlins, and for some reason it wouldn't save. Oh well.
Basically - Scott Stapp is a d-bag. The Marlins are horrible. This is a match made in heaven. I'm sure Cody Ross and his stupid grin LOVE it.
The lyrics ("A stolen base-ah, a double play-ah") are made worse by his "bro" rock voice. Can Marlins actually soar?? Fish swim. Maybe they even glide. But soar?? I don't buy it.
Apparently it's a remake of a song that was on Stapp's solo record "The Great Divide" - which album artwork looks eerily like the album artwork of a certain Canadian superstar...see for yourselves below...
